Frank posted a blog tonight on My Chem's website, which I won't quote, suffice to say that you should all go read it right now! It pretty much sums up my feelings the vast majority of the time.
But the reason why I bring it up and why I am posting here at 1:30am in the morning when I should be sleeping, or also doing a lot of other things higher on my priority list than this, is because it immediately inspired me to have some of his words written somewhere in my house to remind me of these things when life gets in the way.
So I made this. It's black paint on glass with gloss paper underneath. I etched all the words in backwards with my swiss army knife, so they would read correctly on the shiny side of the glass.
I posted this on twitter a few days ago, but am quite proud of it, so thought I would post on here. I made this with laundry marker and fabric paint and it's the first shirt/homemade band merch I have ever done, so yay! Can't wait to wear it to My Chem next year.

I know I have been rather slack on here lately with life, work etc getting in the way of spending any quality time (and most importantly I have to say sorry to my very dear hearts that I owe emails too! I know!), but I saw this and had to get off my slack butt and share it...

(yes, GABE!!!!), Gee's sweet baby face, Mikey fixing Gee's hair...god, how do they even function with that much adorableness...
Anyway, just watch it! It's probably some of the earliest footage I have ever seen of them (besides Penn 02), and I love love LOVE the backstage stuff especially.
On a side note, now that I have ventured back again, shall hopefully post up a few more random things. <3 I don't even think I could begin to talk about the new songs yet, suffice to say they make my heart explode.

Look, I know I have gone off the deep end the past couple of weeks what with My Chem resurfacing and their completely infuriating but genius way of revealing everything. Just wanted to say that as much as I love them so goddamn much, hopefully there might be other things to post about in the not too distant future, so if you'll just continue to indulge me for the time being...
About 10 and a half hours from now (at 4:30am in the morning for yours truly), My Chem are finally revealing their new single on KROQ radio (11:30am PDT). Due to the magnificent foresight of corporate arseholes, the site is blocked to me and apparently everyone outside of the US! But they are no match for us! I have tracked down a link through twitter for a webpage that will stream it (http://bit.ly/b01ZS5), and will be both listening to it with extreme hysteria and attempting to record it for everyone who doesn't share my crazystupid body clock.
If this is successful, I will post a link on twitter for downloading/listening so everyone can experience the awesome. Not sure how successful that will be, but here's hoping! And yes, you can expect a crazy post from me when I get home from work and have calmed down enough to type. And maybe one day, I will be able to tone down this constant fixation I seem to have going on at the moment. However, I also seem to have had this affliction for years and years now, so if I were you, I really wouldn't hold out too much hope for me. God knows I don't.

This is really weird. I posted this at the start of this month about a dream I had. True story.
So, it turns out I was waaaay off on the album title... as expected. But one of the lines from "Na Na Na" is quite clearly "just like a sleeper cell". Was my brain actually trying to tell me something? Hmm, will have to ponder on that one. But in honour of this fact (and because I can now claim this extremely tenuous connection), I have changed my blog banner as appropriate. XD /nerd.
OMFG guys! I cannot tell you how much I am losing my shit right now. Sofuckingawesome! Everything! Gee's hair! Frank! MIKEY! RAY! I have missed these guys so much that seeing so much of them now is just crazy! And the concept and everything! Death proof! Yes! Anyway, WATCH THIS! And watch this again a thousand times over like I am going to stop writing and do! xoxox
EDIT: Okay, so I have calmed down a little and watched it a few times now, BUT IT IS STILL FUCKING AWESOME! My favourite bit would have to be "Killjoys, make some noise!" when Frank and Gee look at each other, but basically all of it is amazing. So so cool and so old school in a way. Like what the fuck, did Mikey really strangle that guy with a game controller on his arm? And Gee's hair, I want it! And their jackets! And the car. My other favourite bit is when the girl leans out of the car, I want that. That. Right there. And Gee's face when they have the stand off across the road, and Frank reading the paper...and Frank! It's fucking Frank! And the way the green mask guy dances around when he's shot in the diner, and Mikeyfaces! And and and!
Seriously though. This proves why these guys have had such a profound effect on me... there's just something so fundamental about them that gets me, and even though we have waited so very fucking long for this record, getting this in return is so worth it. And it's only the beginning! I love their minds. Well shit, I think I just might explode now.
The information for My Chem's first single off the new album has apparently been posted on the Warner's publicity site. The following link gives the single's name, artwork and release date. It's a livejournal post showing a screencap, so of course there is always some doubt, but it looks pretty legit to me. Especially the artwork. Once again, it's your choice...
Apparently HMV has done it again and alledgedly released the name of My Chem's new album. I'm not going to say it here, because for some weird logic, I have no problem announcing the release date, but think if you want to know the title, it should be a conscious decision on your part... so if you want to know it, here's the link (CLICK!).
It is actually the same link I used the other week (which I have now taken down), so therefore shows they have updated the same database entry as they have received the information. The release date has also changed from the 8th November to the 22nd November.
The following tweet pretty much confirms it. And in case that wasn't enough evidence, the same title and release date was also leaked in a tweet the other day by a New Zealand radio station (which was quickly deleted).
So guys, looks like we are counting down to the 22nd of November!<3
EDIT: Rolling Stone article with even more information about the album HERE. Doesn't say the title however.
RE-EDIT: Now HMV has taken the title down and says it's to be confirmed. Interesting.
I am so insanely stung I missed out on this by like an hour. I have all the other ones and was hanging out to get the last one to complete the set. I know I shouldn't care so much about something like this, but I really do! I can't help it. :(

I get the feeling that maybe Becky Cloonan knows something about all this My Chem malarky that we don't. For those who might not know who she is, she's an American comic book creator who has been announced as the illustrator for Gerard Way's upcoming series, "KillJoys". Now, I'm not making any claims here, just presenting the evidence... it could all just be completely unrelated, although it is one HELL of a coincidence.
As some of you may know, I just got back from holidays a few days ago, and even though I have a ton of stuff I want to write about and let out into the world eventually, I still haven't even gotten myself together yet, let alone the thoughts in my head. I guess I told myself I would take it easy and just write when I am ready to make some sense out of anything at all.
So there I am, happily procrastinating my life away while I do the internet rounds, and then I happen to see this...
