Danger Days.
OMFG guys! I cannot tell you how much I am losing my shit right now. Sofuckingawesome! Everything! Gee's hair! Frank! MIKEY! RAY! I have missed these guys so much that seeing so much of them now is just crazy! And the concept and everything! Death proof! Yes! Anyway, WATCH THIS! And watch this again a thousand times over like I am going to stop writing and do! xoxox
EDIT: Okay, so I have calmed down a little and watched it a few times now, BUT IT IS STILL FUCKING AWESOME! My favourite bit would have to be "Killjoys, make some noise!" when Frank and Gee look at each other, but basically all of it is amazing. So so cool and so old school in a way. Like what the fuck, did Mikey really strangle that guy with a game controller on his arm? And Gee's hair, I want it! And their jackets! And the car. My other favourite bit is when the girl leans out of the car, I want that. That. Right there. And Gee's face when they have the stand off across the road, and Frank reading the paper...and Frank! It's fucking Frank! And the way the green mask guy dances around when he's shot in the diner, and Mikeyfaces! And and and!
Seriously though. This proves why these guys have had such a profound effect on me... there's just something so fundamental about them that gets me, and even though we have waited so very fucking long for this record, getting this in return is so worth it. And it's only the beginning! I love their minds. Well shit, I think I just might explode now.

ReplyDeleteFreakishly enough, I was speaking to Cat about what I was thinking about this album taking a pop turn, and said to her that this may just be what we needed and not even know we wanted. I think I just wanted something to dance to, and thank you boys, you've just give me that.
I love the whole thing! The imagery, the colours, the outfits, the whole creative aspect. And loved loved the song. It caught me completely off guard.
Now with this, this is My Chem. Love the red hair, and took me a second watch to realise that Mikey had freaking blonde hair! But they look so so awesome, and the Killyjoys concept has completely won me over.
As I was watching all I could think that this would have to be like a wet dream to Gerard and Ray. *giggles like a little girl*
This band, I have such a history with it and there music has shaped me in even ways I haven't realised... and this, this makes my heart happy.
Cannot wait for the album. And cannot wait for them to unleash it on us.

Words don't even... god. I have now watched it a few more times and am still totally in love with it all, every fucking little thing. Although the guy in the room with one of them on the bed worries me? But yes, I live for the moment when I can finally get my hands on this album, get in my car, head out on the highway and turn it all the way up.
